Activity
The activities of Farm of Hope are very diverse. They cover more disadvantaged social categories, but the foundation is primariy focused on young men over 18.
During the past years there have been passing through our doors over 200 young men, who were all treated equally well: we offered them shelter, food, clothes, helped them to learn a profession, find a job, integrate into the society from which they were alienated. Now they have a new destiny.
Our wish is to give these young men the faith, the hope and the love to choose and to build a new destiny.
A ACCEPTANCE
(NEW PEOPLE) We receive young men over 18 years old coming from the street, orphanages, jails, special schools, poor families offer them shelter, food, clothes, medical assistance, papers and safety.
I INTEGRATION
(NEW RELATIONSHIPS) We help to develop the capability to relate to one’s self, to the community, to the neighbors, to the authorities, to the Church, to God.
T TRANSFORMATION
(NEW SKILLS) We are working at acquiring new abilities by learning and work.
G GRATITUDE
(NEW ATTITUDES) We sustain the choice of an attitude of thanksgiving regarding every situation, regarding God and people, being convinced that our attitude determines the altitude at which we live our lives.
S SOCIALIZATION
(NEW DESTINIES) We encourage the active involvement in the society’s life, trusting God also regarding the fulfillment of destinies of these young men by having jobs, families and spaces for living.
